I am Haotian 'Tony' Yuan. I am a student (class of 2027) at the Georgetown Preparatory School. My areas of interest include the moral philosophy and intellectual history. I speak English, German, Chinese, and read Latin. Next year, I will also learn Homeric Greek as my fifth language. ​​
I received Goldurkunde - Gold Medal​ in the National German Exam.

Ich bin Haotian „Tony“ Yuan. Ich bin Schüler an der Georgetown Preparatory School. Ich mag Moralphilosophie und Geschichte. Ich spreche in Englisch, Deutsch, Chinesisch und lese Latein.

I will be assisting at two labs this summer - one at Tsinghua University and another at Georgia Institute of Technology. I will join the Yale Young Global Scholars summer school (Session III). In addition to these, I will (hopefully) finish my current ongoing research projects in AI Ethics, history of philosophy, and bioethics.
I might participate in the Royal Yachting Association's sailing assistant coach programme this summer, before that, I have completed two advanced courses in sailing certified by RYA.

I received the highest academic honour for my first year of high school - the Southwell Scholar award. Recently I received a Maxima Cum Laude from the National Latin Exam and Goldurkunde from National German Exam.

My courses next year: AP Calculus, AP Language, AP US History, AP Latin, Homeric/Ancient Greek, Honours German II, Honours Physics.
Advanced Placement courses include: AP Statistics, AP Calculus, AP World History, AP Macroeconomics.
Honours courses include: Honours Precalculus, Honours Biology, Honours Latin II, Honours Chemistry.
Current GPA: 97/100, Q4 GPA: 98/100

I also like to travel around the world - currently been to more than twenty-five countries in the world (France, Italy, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, etc.). I enjoy different cultures and their history.
